The day-long event saw Whitby corne away with a first, second and third place spot as weII as an award for the best team leader. "After the competitions were over people paid us compliments saying it was the best they had seen. We hope that we can host the competition again next year. " From here the Whitby sea cadets will be entered in the provincial competitions to be held some time in late May at Camp lpperwash in the London area. Should the Whitby group place well in that com- petition they will move on to the national championship, all expenses paid.
