However, that- future will not begin until the start of the next session. The Redmen were elimiï- nated from the Ontario Lacrosse Association Major Series playoffs wheni they lost 13-11' to the Brampton Excelsiors last Thursday night. The Exseisliors will face the Peterborough Red Oaks' for the league championship. The game gave Brampton, its second win in the round, robin semi-final tournament. "It was a fantastie game., characterized by outstand- lng netminding at both ends", Vipond said., "The fans won't see a better game. Our team is young and inftwo years wiil be dominating this league. IL is too bad for many of them that we lost. They were outstanding. " Brooklin appeared to be in control of the .contest late in the second period when it had a 7-3 lead. However, neither team had been more tha n one up on the other until Cam Devine scored on a Blaine Harrison pass at the 12:05 mark of the second., The timekeeper ýbecame, involved in the game when Bill Down of Brooklin and Tom Patrick ' of Brampton each received. off-setting minor.penalties. Brooklin tied the game and for the'rest, of the contest control went back and forth' beween the two clubs.
