Today and tomorrow the Cable TV program "Focus on Mental Health". will feature "Adolescents in Crisis", withý social workers Natalie Carter and Marilyn Lay -fromn the hospital's adolescent unit. Times for this show on Cable channel 10 8:30 p.m. today and 4 p.m. Thursday. Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. there will be a display on hospital services by the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital at the Whitby Mail. Another cable TV program will be about psychiatric jhospitals today, featuring Hthe film "Open Doors" about treatment in Ontario's psy- chiatrie hospitals, featuring j Whitby Hospital eia Director Dr. Sama Usha and O'Keefe. This ýprogram will be shown- on 'Channel 10 Thursday at 9 p.m. and Friday at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a Career Day at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital, in which 70 high school students from Whitby and Oshawa will discuss careers with 17 hospitai professionals. Friday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. there wili be a Volun- teen Appreciation Dinner for teen-age volunteers at the Whitby Psychiatrie Hospital. The sessions this May promise to be as popular and successful as those held in the past four years. The workshop wiil consist of instruction, demonstra- tions and discussions cover- ASHBURN con ducts ing: studio equipment, Uin design, throwing and hand- building techniques, glazing and saIt glaze firing.. A number of - potters' wheels wiil be on hand in the gallery's studio area and the fee includes ail materials such as dlay and giazes. Both beginners and ad- à vanced students are en- couraged, to participate in this exciting workshop. The programme will be for two consective weeks, thus: Monday, May 14 to Friday, May 18 and Monday, May 21 to Friday, May 25. The owner of one the cars was not aware that his car was missing until he was informed by the police, while they were making a check on the cars.i Raymond McCabe,ý Lind- say owner of one of the two parked cars was not aware of the fact his car was stoien. Charged with. being in -pos- session of stolen property is John Arthur King, 22 of Lindsay. The second of the two cars found parked in an illegal manner on Brock Street, was reported stolen by Paul Buday proprietor of Burton Motors, Toronto. The car was reported mis- sing from the car lot on Tuesday. Three Toronto youths are charged with being in --pos- session of stolen goods. They are Grant Stephen 16, Bruce Bourgeault 16 and 20 year- old Robert MacKenzie. The four appeared before the Justice of the Peace in Oshawa for a bail hearing.
