The following is the Presi- dent's report, presented at the meeting by Jacquie Sims: The Whitby Branch of the Canadian Red Cross Society has had an active year in 1978, as can be seen from the nrogram reþorts. There has' been considerable growth in the areas of blood donations, A.I.D., and Homemaker services. New areas of publicity for Red Cross were explored this past year by setting up Water Safety and A.I.D. dis- plays in the Plum Hollow Book Store. I thank the owner, John Roberts, for his interest and support of Red Cross activities.
