In October 1977, the same firm, under the name of Katina Developments, open- ed the Kent Building, a simi- lar office, structure, at Dundas and Kent Streets. This building is presently 95 per cent occupied. The principals of Mary Brock Developments own a nuliber of other sites in Whitby and further develop-, ment is intended, says Bill Schatzmann, rentai agent for the new building at Brock and Mary Streets. The structure, likely to, be called the Mary Brock Build- ing, contains 7,000 square feet of office space on the second floor, 6,000 square feet on the ground floor and 3,500 square feet in the base. ment. The bank, which occupied aý building north of Henry Buildaîl for the past 15 years, has doubled its floor space in its new location, occupying 3,000 square feet on the main f loor and 1,500' square feet in the basement, for a total of 4,500 square feet. Mr. Schatzmann has been in the real estate business for 23 years, and bas operated bis own firm for 18 years. Wesley's World of Travel opened temporarily in the Kent Building last year and moved to the Mary Brock Building recently. The first business to open in the Mary Brock Building, on Nov. 1, 1978 was Hairlines Limited, a new business for downtown Whitby.
