It was strictly a defensive battie ail the way. The first hà lf ended in a secreless tie, and it was obvious from the start of the game that which- ever team could take the lead would walk away with the cup'. In the second haif, Oshawa Turul took the leacÇ on an , innocent-looking play that ,came from the right wing, was deflected, and ended up behind Brett Herod the Whitby netminder, who had no0 chance on it. Both coaches would like to take this opportunity to thank the players and the parents for their co- operation during the season. Playing as a minr team in a major league is a tough battie, but the boys responded welJ. and had strong competition ail year, and benefitted from it.
