The DQC-a-thon is a 30 kilometer (20-mile) walk to raise funds for the operation of Grades 11, 12 and 13 at the sehool. These grades are not financially supported by the Durham Ilegion Separate School Board or the provincial goverument, so the school has, to rely on a-thon bo pa'y the operating expenses. As ini past years, they are counting on 100 per cent participation, by Denis :'Connor's 400 students and The JX)C-a-thon starts at the sehool on the morning of Sept. 28, and follows the base line to Ajax, Church.Street to the third concession (Ross- land Roadî, and Cochrane Street back to the school.
