They lost the game in the field with some sloppy play, kick- ing the bail around in the 3rd inning when they made three miscues which led to .4 un- earned runs, and in playoff competition runs can 't be given up in bunches. 7 walks also helped to put Bowman- ville batters on base and in scorîng position.
