Zawadski, of 704 Centre Street South, caused $1500 darnage to his car when he struck the traffic light standard at Cochrane and Dundas Streets at 2 a.în. Saturday, police said. Darnage to the traffic light standard, amounted to $1 ,000. According to police, Mr. Zawadski, after leaving the scene, drove off in an erratic manner towards his residence. He wvas charged with failure to remain at the scene of the accident. Breathalyser tests at the police station revealed readings exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol in I100 millilitres of blood. Police havé' charged Vincent A. Marullo, Jr., of Anderson Street North in IBrooklin. with npossession of a narcotic for purpose of trafficking.
