Programs su.bject to change witbout Notice. Oliver Graham, a resident of the Brooklin area A his life, died at Fairview Lodge, June 22, at the age of 78. Mr. Graham was born March 1, 1899 at Myrtle Station, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Graham. He resided in Brooklin f .r 48 years, and worked for 23 years at Fittings Limited in Oshawa. Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, the former Aileen Thompson, and three daught- ers, Mrs. Alvin Church (Helen), of Brooklin; Mrs. Meredith McKee (Bettie), of Port Perry; Mrs. Douglas Bonnetta (Marlene) of Brooklin, _ and one son, William, of Oshawa. Seniors craft contest Senior citizens are invited to submit their work to a craft contest in honor of Queen Elizabeth'"s Silver Jubilee and'the County Towvn Carnival. Sponsored by the Opti- Mrs. Club of Whitby, the contest lias two classes -- needlework, including knit- ting and needle-point; and general crafts, comprised of wood work and carving. The winner in each category will be awarded one set of 25 silver dollars, and runners-up will receive tlower s.
