The presentation of the Peter Perry Award to Whitby's outstanding citizen of 1976, will be a gala event this year with entertainment by professional theatre stars Dinah Christie and Tom Kneebone. The Peter Perry program wiII be Friday July 22 at 1-lcydenshore Pavilion-, with tickets going on sale later thiis month. This will mark the first time that there lias been professional entertain- ment at the Peter Perry Award dinner. Another new event is Puck's Travellinig Circus, which 15 being brought to the carnival by the Chamber. This tent circus will be held at Iroquois Park Jüly 29 to Aug. 1, with eight attractions and space for 1,000 peoPle in the tent. Tickets will be available later this inonth, to be sold form an information booth- to be erected at the Four Corners. The Chambe r's annual trade fair in the Iroquois Park Arena is set to July 25 to 27. A few booths are stili available by calling the Chamber bffice at 668-4506.
