Last year nearly 500 wornen of various denomnina- tions gathered at the Collegiate for a day of inspiration and fellowship. Women Alive is a confer- ence-centred non-denomnina- tional organization conccrned with hielping xvoren find a sense of worth, a meaning for life andl fruitful living through a close relationship \vith Jesus Christ. Because of the- tre- mendous response to the annual weekend conference in Waterloo, one day mini- conferences were started under the leadership of Mrs. Betty Andrew of Whitby, who is also the Assistant Director of Woren Alive. Principal speaker at this year's mini-conference on June 4 is to be Mrs. Jeanette Lockerbie of Pasadena, Cali- fornia. Mrs. Lockerbic, author of niany books, is staff writer and editor of the Narraiore Christian Foundat ion and works closely with emîinent Psychologist, Dr. Clyde Narraniore.
