Grading and site prepara- tion is under way for the1 construction of Wentworth Street from the Stevenson Road Industrial Park in Oshawa to Thickson Road in Whitby.. Completion of'the projeet, including a bridge ove r Corbett Crcek, is expected within 18 rnonths, says Durham Region'sdevelopnient offlecer for Whitby, Richard Spence. The creek crossing alone will cost haif a million dollars says Mr. Spence, butI the Towvn of Whitby and the Region of Durhamn will flot have tu pay for it.
