Willam Campbell to join C] William Campbell will assume bis duties as General Manager and Secretary- Treasurer of the Central Lake Ontario Cnevto Authority on November 1, CLOCA Chairman John Goodwin announced recently. "His background makes hini well-suited for the position as hîs experience as municipal engineer of the Town of Ajax has abided hlm with a varied background and experience for his respon- sibilities wiih the conservation authority", according 10, CLOCA. Mr. Campbell, 35, has been a municipal engineer for Ajax for seven years and is currently Director of Works. LOCA In that capacity, Mr. Campbell is responsible for the management of the largest department in the town which includes overail management, staff manage- ment and budgetary control. He hopes to bring his technieal background,- which includes drawing up legisia- tion, overseeing water manage- ment and dealing with the province and municipalities, to his new position. In his position with CLOCA, Mr. Campbell will be responsible for the overail .con trol, internai management,. planning of property acquisi- tions and dealing with the day to day problems of the auihority.
