The Sparrows trail with four points on two wins and one loss. The Robins and Larks are in 'a third-place tie after win- ning one game and losing two. The OwIs, who have lost all three of their games, sit alone in the basement. Kelly O'Connor scored three times to lead the Robins to a 4-3 win over the Owls who got a hattrick from Scott ague Helmer. Wayne Cornish added a single for the winners. Billy O'Meara fired three goals and Gary Mark two in the Gulls 5-5 lie with the Wrens. Neil Muschett, with two, Rick Neely, Albert Curtis, and Steve Hartnan replied for the losers. The Sparrows downed the Larks 4-1 on two goals by Harold Hess and singles by Scott Thompson and Sandy Connelly. Dean Vanderlinde replied for the Larks. NOVICE lvan's Hairstyling, with 20 points on nine wins, two ties and four losses, lead the novice division. C.B. Foster and Sons and Brooklin Legion are tied in lectrie record 8-6 victory second place with eight wins, one tie and six losses for 17 points each. McTeague Electric, with six points on one win, four ties and 10 losses, are in the basement. s In a high-scoring contest, McTeague Electric defeated C.B. Foster and Sons 8-6. Billy Chilton scored four times, David Gray twice and Tom Clarkes and Jeff Hughes once each. Jason Bruneau fired five goals and Jeff Taylor one for the losers. Ivan's Hairstyling blanked Brooklin Legion 8-0 as Jeff page scored a hattrick, Phil Kapuscinski a pair and Greg Davidson, Scott Burnett and Dennis Bastarache singles. MINOR ATOM Mercury Auto Body lcads the minor atom division with 19 points on nine wins, one tie and three losses. Beaupre's Esso trail with 13 points on six wins, one tie and six losses. Duff's Towing and Munn's Press are deadlocked in last place with 10 points each, the former with a record of four wins, two ties and seven losses and the latter with five wins and eight losses. Darren Short recorded a shutout as Beaupre's Esso blanked Duff's Towing 6-0 on three goals by David Gallagher and singles by Ken White, Gord Muschett and Shawn Binder. Despite a hattrick from the stick of Frank Ignazzitto. Mercury Auto Body were up- set 5-4 by Murin's Press who got three goals by Renay Collins and two by Darren Bradley. Peter Riviore added a single for the losers. MAJOR ATOM Mowat Insurancehave won seven games, tied three and lost three for 17 points, tops in the major atom division. Whitby Fifefighters, with 15 points on seven wins, one tie and five losses, are in second place.. Koke Sheli trail by four points after 'winning five times, trying once and losing seven times. Rider Tool, on the strength of three wins, three ties and seven losses, are in the cellar with nine points. Mowat ·Insurance and Rider Tool fought to a 1-1 tie as Scott Rowland scored for the former and David Craig for the latter. Whitby Firefighters doub- led the score on Koke Shell, winning 4-2 on goals by Jeff Lee, David Slessor, Kevin Roach and Terry Fisher. Gary Chasczewski and Dean Van Doleweerd scored in a losing cause. MINOR PEEWEE Mercury Auto Body, with 16 points on seven wins, two tics and two losses, sit atop the minor peewee division. Family Kartway and Totten, Sims and Hubicki are deadlocked in second place with 14 points each on identical records of six wins, two tics and three losses. Whitby Mall Restaurant have won three games, tied three and lost five, giving them nine points. Randall Plumbing have collected seven points on three wins, one tic and seven losses. All Canadian Awards, with six points on two wins, two tics and seven losses, are in last place. Totten, Sims and Hubicki edged Randall Plumbing 4-3 on two goals by Ken Lynde and singles by Brent Lind- berg and Doug McDonald. Brian Schroer, Ian Porter and Paddy Mulligan replied for the losers. Whitby Mall Restaurant handed Mercury Auto Body a 4-1 defeat on two goals by Todd Tran and singles by Eric Ritchie and Scott Williams. Frank Janssen tallied the losers' only goal. Family Kartway outscored All Canadian Awards 7-6 on two-goal efforts by Russell Lewis and Jereny Blaker and onie goal each by Murray Parrinder, Wayne Misselbrook and Paul Shaubel. The T.C.'s trail with 13 points on six wins, one tic and six losses. Dodd and Souter, with nine points on four wins, one tic and eight losses, are in last place. Dodd and Souter edged T.C.'s 4-3 on goals by Joe Morrison, Mark Kennedy, Steve Tungatt and Phil Watson. Ian Ward, with two, and Grant Hogg scored in a losing cause. McNamara Marine downed Kiwanis Club 5-3 on two goals by Mark Smith and singles by Allan Thompson, Scott Dezan and Kevin Labanovich. Jeff Tran, Mike Cachia and Fergus Morrison replied for Kiwanis Club. MINOR BANTAM Red Wig Orchards have a narrow lead in the standings of the minor bantam divisiop as they have collected 17 points on eight wins, one tie and four losses. Algoma Orchards follow with 16 points on seven wins, two ties and four losses. Canadian Legion with 10 points on four wins, two ties and seven losses, are in third place. Mercantile are in the cellar with nine points, collected during four wins, one tie and eight losses. Algoma Orchards doubled the score on Red Wing Orchards, winning 2-1 on goals by Mike Dickson and Chris Langford. Paul Connelly got the losers' lone goal. Despite a four-goal perfor- mance by Bill Lamont, Canadian Legion had to settle for a 5-5 standoff with Mercantile. Stuart Craig contributed a single for Canadian Legion while Don Bursey, Randy Bell, David McDonald, Joe Vanderline and Steve Gallogher found the target for Mercantile. MAJOR BANTAM - MINOR MIDGET Whitby Lions, with 21 points on 10 wins, one tie and two losses, lead the major bantam-minor midget division. . Rotary Club, with eight wins, two ties and three losses, have 18 points, good enough for second place. Kinsmen Club follow close behind with 17 points on eight wins, one tie and four losses. Kameka Shoes have won seven games, tied one and lost five, giving them 15 points. Canadian Tire have 10 points on five wins and eight losses. Ewing Pools, with two wins, five ties and six losses, have nine points. Gus Brown Motors trail with eight points on two wins, four ties and seven losses. G.N. Sports are in the basement with six points on two wins, two ties and nine losses. Whitby Lions topped Canadian Tire 6-4 as Paul Gibson turned in a hattrick and Darrel Mask, Mike Liebisch and Mike Gallagher fired singles. Dave Ci, with two, Jamie Tran and Dave Cane replied for the losers. Ewing Pools and Gus Brown Motors played to a 4-4 deadlock as Steve Steane, Mike Trelford, Jerry Clugston and John White scored for the former and Derrick Minaret, with two, Scott Lindberg and Mike Rostek fer the latter.
