1' Fi*rst-place Barrie Flyers scalu Warriors 6-1 The first-place Barrie Flyers, with two goals in each- period, scalped the Whitby Warriors 6-1 in an Ontario Hockey Association Senior 'A' gamne at Iroquois Park Arena on Thursday. Paul Regan scored three goals for the winners and Phil Branston twol. Paul Regan opened tlhe scoring at 6:24 of the first period on assists from Bob Baird and Phil Branston. Warriors' Ed Philpott brought his team even 94 seconds later after taking a pass from Ed Taylor. Paul Regan scored the win- ning goal at 15:22 on helpers by Jack Smith and Bob Baird. Whitby fired nine shots at Ron Patterson while Barrie managed seven at Dave Boyarski. Gary Lyte and Steve Sly set up the Flyers' third goal by Ken Knapton at 13:04 of the second period. Phil Branston tallied his tirst ot* two goais at 16:21. Paul Regan ind Steve Sly picked up the assists. Each team mranaged 13 shots at the other's net.
