We hope you all have recovered from the holidays, and are now ready to face the brave, new world which is to be ours in 1976. Our first item deals with class. Some of you may renem- ber that; during the provincial election campaign, we were greeted daily at the Pickering GO station by the candidates. .You may also remember that, on the day following the election, our new M.P.P., Dr. Charles Godfrey, was there thanking the people for having elected him. Well, on December 24th, the good Doctor was at the Pickering GO station once again, this time wishing all of his constituents the best of the holiday season. A very nice gesture, don't you think? Next on our list of goodies is the reminder that this coming Saturday is the second Saturday of the month, and should be paper drive Saturday. You are reminded to watch for the signs, and, if it is go, get all those newspapers together, and put them out for ·the Cubs and Scouts to pick up. From Bill Hoffman we hear that February is Heart Month. Bill is looking for volunteers to canvass West Lynde. All that is involved is one day of your time spent knocking on your neighbours' doors. So, give it a try. Get involved. Cali Karen Kerr at 2244 and offer to help. Our final note comes courtesy of your Whitby Warriors.
