MINOR ATOM Whitby Mall - Florists trounced Markham 12-1 on a hattrick by Dave Sachko, two-goal efforts by Gary Roberts, Joel McCulloch and Joey Nieuwendyk and singles by Raymond Ryan, Warren Ellis and Mark Farrell. They started the away trip with a 4-0 shutout over Co- bourg. Bobby Rints played flawless goaltending while Paul Newman scored three times and Stuart Broll once. They then exploded in the third period of a game against Markham and wound up with a 6-3 victory.
