PAGE 6, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 1975, WHITBY FREE Pl Î B~kin For the first time in rnany months 1 have to report that there wasn't one cal1 this week for the Bylines. From this silence 1 deduce that you are either upto your eyes in pre- parations for Christmas; or that you have decided flot to read the Bylines anymore; or you have heard a rumor that I'm leaving town. My answer to the first is..let u s in on your special Christmas 'do'; to the second..no new resolutions till the New Year! And to the third..when I'm leaving town you'll know :nbout it - there'll probably be dancing in the streets to celebrate!! So how about it.. there has to be something going on, something that should be sbared with the rest of the community. So cail that number..655-3750 and let us ail hear about it. l'm going to take time to ponder a few points. First, as it is the end of the Faîl session for most recreation activities, please may 1 give the Recreation Department a pointer. You have arranged two "after school" craft activities for young people..Tuesday and Wednesday. You then arranged an open skating session straight after school, also on a Tuesday. 1 know a few yoýung girls that would like very much to do -both, but as the girls activity night is on the Tuesday they 'RESS have to make a choice..the boys are in luck. They can skate on Tuesday and go to the activity night on the Wed. Are you really being chauvenis,.-;c down there at the office, or didn't you realize what you had done? l'il get my answer in the New Year when 1 see the new schedules!! 1 arn glad to see that the Department is at least consider- ing a transportation systemn to encourage more use of our Arena facilities. You do your part tho' and feed the Dept. the information it needs to make the pilot project successful. They have started to listen..don't go dumb now!! At a glance. SUN.
