Two tournaments are scheduled for Saturday, August 2 and Monday, August 4. On Saturday the Whitby Minor Lacrosse Association will host the County Town Carnival Bantam Lacrosse Tournainent. Teams from Clarkson, Erindale, Nepean, Wallaceburg, Garrard Road and Cawthra wili participate. On Monday, Aujust 4th the COunty Town Carnival Pee Wee Tournament wili take place and teams from Brampton, Hamilton, Erin- dale, Sela, Clarkson, St. Catharines and Garrard Road are invited. Victorious in the third race of the 1975 season, Sobering, added a second Formula 100 win to his credit narrowly edging his Crossle over the finish line ahead of Concord's Nigel Gough. Three of the front- runners, David White of Brampton, Johin Scratch of Stratford and Scarborough's Don McKnight were put out of the race after being involved in an accident on' the eighth circuit ot the 20 lap event. Runner-up Gough finished one car length ahead of a Van Diemen driven by Montreal's Richard Spenard. Veteran driver Werner Von Engelbrechten camne through with his third win of the 2.5 litre sedan series, handily capturing the 20 lap feature in a downpour. His partner on the Beach Auto BMW team, Werner Gudzus of Pickering made the event a dlean sweep for the team, placing second. Third place went to Toronto's George Comacchio in a Fiat. Peter Clare, a native of Nashville, Ontario captured his fourth consecutive C class victory in a Mini Cooper S finishing fourth overali. The sixth round of the Bulova Championship fo r Formula 100s and 2.5 litre sedans will be held Monday, August 4 at Mosport Park.
