Comment An awful lot has been written these past few weeks about the proposed higli-rise development at the corner of Dundas and Jeffery Streets. Nothing new can be added so 1 won't be saying anything new here today. I would like to sum up, however, by saying that*you should really get involved in this issuc. It wil affect us al in one way or another. So give ED DAWSON (668-9856) a cail and let him kùow that you're with him on this one. ED and his comimittee are working very hard on our behaif and 1 think they'd like to know you're with them. On the same issue, but with a different focus, 1 would suggest that you let Mayor Newman and Councilor Gart- shore know where you stand on the issue of high-rise deveioprnent. While you're at it, flind out what their posi- tion is, and make a note of it. 'Ihen, when Mr. Newman seeks your support in his bld to become M.P.P. for Durhamn West, and Mr. Gartshore seeks your support if he decides to mun for Mayor, you can rememrber what they did for you in this issue. Weil, that's it for this week. Bye for now, keep the faith and lIl see you ail next week.
