G. Newman of Whitby, Chair- man of the Municipal Liaison Committee, which in- cludes representatives of the Association of Munici- palities of Ontario, the Association of Counties and Regions of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Rural Municipalities and Metropolitan Toronto. Mayor Newman wil lead a municipal delegation cbosen by colleagues and staff from various ministries and de- partments of the federal and provincial governments. he conference wilI consider housing, transporta- tion and environmental management in relation to Ontario's urban and regional development strategy, and the financial implications for each level of govern- ment. The conference, which is open to the media, is the result of an invitation issued- by the Government of Ontario at the national tri-level conférence in Toronto last November. Mr. Justice Galligan is a graduate of St. Patrick's College and Osgoode L.aw School. While in practice he was a member of the Canadian Bar Association, County of Carleton Law Association, and the Ontario Advocates Society. He bas been Secretary of Catbolic Family Services of Ottawa, Member of the Advisory Cormîittee of Camp Echon Boys' Camp, Ottawa Comrnunity Chest Canvasser - Lawyers' Division, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Big Brothers Association of Ottawa. hIe Hon.
