ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE AT WHITBY 'STATION' After careful deliberation, the Whitby Arts "Station" has chosen Mr. GI en Elliott of Toronto as artist-in.- residence. Mr. Elliott i s twenty-seven years o I d and a graduate of Fine Arts from the University of S a s k atchewan. He is represented by the Pollock Gallery in Toronto and has had paintings in a n umber of major national exhibitions in the I1ast three or four years. He has made extensive trips circling the g Io b e , and spent several months in s u ch countries as Greece, Indi a and Japan. Last s um me r Mr. Elliott worked for the Youth and Recreation Branch in the "Art TrekI"project, ( a program to p r ovide a stimulus in the visula arts field for smaller communities in Ont- ario).
