No windows were broken at St. Leo's School. At arEcent meeting of the Womens' Institute, Mrs. Allan Jackson gave a most interesting talk on the Womens' Institute founder, Adelaide Hoodless. Adelaide Hoodless was from Brant County , and she at one time, lived with her eldest sister in Lindsay, Ont- ario. A relative of Mr. Massey, she vvas on ce invited t o attend the Farmers' Institute at Massey Hall, Toronto. Adelaide Hoodl ess helped to organ- i ze the Y. M. C. A. , and theV.O. N. & dedicatedmostof her life to "Home & Country". She d ie d a t the age of 52 in the year 1830.
