- Belinda Gibson (nee Hyfield) was born on 6 May 1828. She married Yeoman Gibson on 9 January 1851. The Gibsons were members of the Methodist CHurch in Whitby and in 1854 they gave the church a silver communion set which was in use for more than 100 years. Gibson and her daughter, Alma, prepared the communion for Sunday services.
She died at Whitby on 27 March 1909 and is buried in Salem Cemetery in Kinsale. The Gibsons had six children. - Date of Original
