Notes
Terrance Moore was born at Toronto in 1920 and grew up in Weston. He attended Upper Canada College and served during the Second World War in Britain and the Middle East as a navigator with the Royal Canadian Air Force.

He received is law degree from Osgoode Hall and in 1951 opened a law office in Whitby succeeding William John Hare. Moore was president of the Ontario County Bar Association in 1959 and was appointed to the Queen's Council in 1962.

In Whitby, Moore was secretary of the Whitby Community Chest and president of the Whitby Chamber of Commerce in 1955. He served on the Whitby Public School Board from 1958-1959. He sat on the executive boards for the Ontario County Tuberculosis Association, Board of the Oshawa General Hospital, and was president of the Whitby Rotary Club.

In 1964, Moore was appointed associate senior judge for the Metropolitan Toronto Juvenile and Family Courts. He later worked as a judge in British Columbia.
