- Janet Sinclair was born at Glenrath farm in Whitby Township in 1842, the daughter of Margaret and William Sinclair. She married James Young and in 1886 she moved to Clinton, Ontario where she died on 29 November 1916. She is buried in Clinton Cemetery.
