In the foreground is the Thickson's (Corbett's) Point cottage area. The large building beyond the plant is the LCBO warehouse which was built in 1981.

- The plant was built in 1971-1972 to service the sewage needs of the corridor between Whitby and Oshawa and eventually, Brooklin. It is located at 2400 Forbes St. in Whitby.
