- Daniel DeHart Jr. was likely born at Staten Island, New York on 28 November 1782. His parents and family settled on the shore of Lake Ontario in Whitby Township in 1808 and became farmers.
Daniel died at Whitby Township on 7 December 1866 and is buried in the Methodist Episcopal Cemetery at Myrtle. - Date of Original
