- Black and white negative showing the James Mitchell house. The house was built at lot 28, concession 4.
- Notes
- This house was built about 1851 on lot 28, concession 4 for James Mitchell, the man who established Patly Mills. The mills were later owned by James Thompson and John Cooper.
The house was purchased by a Toronto lawyer, Charles Armstrong, in 1936. He added the dormer windows on the front elevation. It was later purchased by Len Cullen and moved to lot 29, concession 4. In the 1990s, the house was moved to Cullen Gardens. - Date of Original
