- Black and white negative showing an aerial view of the Glen Dhu farm. The farmhouse, built in 1849 and rebuilt in 1868 after a fire , is visible in the foreground. The house was finally demolished in 1984 and the land was converted into a subdivision. At the time this photograph was taken, the farm was owned by William Edgar Jamieson.
- Notes
- Glen Dhu, lot 23, concession 3, was settled in 1833 by William Dow and remained in the Down family until 1915. The Dow family emigrated from Banffshire, Scotland.
