- Black and white negative showing James and Emma Dalby on the occasion of their 59th wedding anniversary.
- Notes
- James Peter Dalby (1850-1948) and Emma Harvey (1852-1948) were married at Badingham, Suffolk, England on 1 March 1877. They settled at Audley in Pickering Township where James was a blacksmith. They moved to Whitby in 1911 and James worked in the buckle factory until his retirement in 1927.
James died at Whitby on 20 September 1948; Emma died at Whitby on 15 January 1948. They are both buried at Union Cemetery, Oshawa. - Date of Original
