Black and white negative showing the Whitby Centennial Queen, Mrs Harriette Jane Wilson (nee Pringle). Harriette Wilson (1863-1957)was, at the age of 91, Whitby's oldest native born resident at the time of the Centennial celebrations.
Left to right in the car: Miss Ryan, Hariette Wilson, Mrs Stiner. The three women were part of the centennial parade.
Notes
Whitby celebrated its Centennial of Incorporation as a town from 26 June to 3 July 1955.
