- The Snider family lived in the John Street and Forsyth Road area of Waterloo which was not included in city directories or on city maps until the 1950s. Howard Senior raised peacocks on the farm and in 1951 is listed as working as a greenskeeper at the Westmount Golf & Country Club, and living at 244 King Street North.
