Copy of an undated letter to Sidney Smith, Postmaster General of Canada from Moses Springer, Reeve of Waterloo Village, discussing the confusion of mail between Waterloo, Waterloo County; Waterloo, Kingston County and Waterloo, Shefford County, Canada East (Quebec), and asks for a change in the name of the post offices to prevent this confusion.
Notes
Moses Springer was the first Reeve of Waterloo in 1857, and served again in 1867 and 1870.
