- Man standing with two horses at the Schneider Stock Farm. Note sign behind him. Farm was located in the Bridgeport Road and Weber Street area.

- John Metz Schneider worked in a button factory in Kitchener until, being laid off with an injured hand, he began making sausages in his home. Three years later he purchased a retail store next to his home on Courtland Avenue in Kitchener. J.M eventually took his four sons into the business and it was named J.M. Schneider & Sons Limited.
Stable for race horses built in 1888 by Joseph E. Seagram. Sold in 1937 to J.M. Schneider & Sons Limited and used as a stock farm. Sold for residential development in 1957 and demolished.
