Photograph of the horse powered sweep in the barn of the farm belonging to Henry Bowman in Lexington, just outside Waterloo.
Notes
The farm is described as being 100 years old in 1931.

Possibly the Henry Bowman who built the Bowman House hotel in 1840 on the north east corner of King and Erb Streets which was initially known as the Farmer's Hotel. It was sold in 1882.
