- John Bruegeman was born in 1869 in Hanover, Ontario, and owned a tailoring business in Waterloo from 1890 until shortly before his death in 1950. He was married to Sarah Anne Snyder and they had seven daughters, Vera, Adeen, Myrtle, Kathryn, Ruth (Kee), Lola (Cressman), and Margaret (Krueger).
