Weather permitting, the Uptown Night Market will run every Thursday eve- ning through August, from 7 to 10 p.m., at the Waterloo Public Library (WPL) up- per parking lot on Albert Street. "Each week the market will host 26 different, and alternating, vendors and businesses," shared Tracy Van Kalsbeek, executive director of the Uptown Wa- terloo BIA, in a press re- lease. "We'll have a range of lo- cal artisans, food, retail items, vintage clothing, housewares and more." Last year the market brought close to 5,000 visi- tors to uptown and Van Kalsbeek hopes to double that figure with an in- creased number of ven- dors, as well as live music and entertainment.
