HOW WOULD YOU GRADE THE PROVINCE'S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND WHY?: B- The province did the best they could under the circumstances they had created -- it is difficult to hold people up when you've dug a grave rather than a stage. Right before the pan- demic became a real con- cern, the province cut funding to, and decreased the functional capacity for, health care and education, the two most impacted and required supports during the pandemic. IF ELECTED, I PLEDGE ... to listen to people's concerns and collaborate with ex- perts who can share key ev- idence-based information on how we can not only make stronger policies, but also follow through on pol- icies to ensure they are working to better people's lives rather than adding more barriers. My hope is to bring folks from differ- ent views together and fos- ter respectful dialogue that will help kick-start positive relationship-building and action that works in the fa- vour of sustainability, in- clusivity, and affordability.
