And take notice that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of this By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Corporation of the City of Waterloo not later than June 8, 2022, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by a fee of $1,100.00, made payable to the Minister of Finance, as prescribed under the Ontario Land Tribunal Act. The project will be phased over two years, with the section from George to John Street East being completed in 2022 and the section from John to Union in 2023. In general, the scheduled work includes the replacement of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, watermains, sidewalks, curb and gutter, road base and asphalt pavement. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start on or about Monday June 6th, pending completion of natural gas infrastructure upgrades and overhead utility pole relocations. Typically an in-person Public Information Centre meeting would be held to share information with interested residents. Due to COVID-19, current City policy prohibits in-person events.
