The adorable pinup will be backed by a stellar four-piece band performing hits, unique hidden gems and original songs. Since 2018, she's been singing retro music as Miss Tammy Darling, performing at venues such as The Jazz Room, Cambridge Arts Theatre, Cadillac Lounge, Dakota Tavern and Toronto's Vintage Prom. Miss Darling brings audiences the charm of the mid-century with vintage music and style, and strives to bring awareness to influential female artists of the past, such as Wanda Jackson, Brenda Lee and Connie Francis. With a love of old Hollywood and a fasci- nation with the past, her original music is influenced by 1950s rockabilly and rock 'n' roll. In the fall of 2021, Miss Tammy released her debut single, "Mr. Bartender," which is available on streaming platforms. She was recently awarded a grant from the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund to record her debut EP and plans to continue revitalizing this old iconic sound with a modern female per- spective. In her upcoming performance at The Jazz Room, Miss Darling looks forward to blending the old and the new, by continu- ing to sing favourites of the past alongside new originals.
