During an interview with the Waterloo Chronicle, the co-found- er of the K-W O:se Kenhionhata- :tie Land Back Camp noted their mother's role with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission as a survivor, a walk with the Healing of the Seven Generations as well as a candlelight vigil and sacred fire near the playground area or- ganized by camp members.
