This mind-bending puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to the test! Here's How ItWorks: Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle! Cr oss wo rd & Su do ku CLUES ACROSS 1. Mom's fellow 4. Strait-laced 8. Quote 12. Wintry 13. Talk wildly 14. Opera tune 15. From July 10-11, 2,978 youth aged 12-17 were vac- cinated at the clinic. "Ev- ery Dose Counts" also saw the highest number of vac- cines administered across Waterloo Region in a single day on July 10, with 12,820 shots in arms. "We're very pleased that so many people chose to attend Bingemans Con- ference Centre for a first or earlier second dose of the vaccine this weekend," said Shirley Hilton, depu- ty chief for Waterloo Re- gional Police Service and head of the region's vac- cine task force, in a media release. "Both our traditional and Hockey Hub vaccina- tion clinics at Bingemans ran efficiently and smooth- ly while accommodating first and second dose walk- ins. Many residents con- veyed having a positive ex- perience." The Hockey Hub clinic model will be in operation this coming week at Binge- mans as well, with appoint- ments required for second doses. Walk-ins are still welcome for first doses, as they are across the region. Clinic hours at Bingemans this week are as follows: • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sun- day: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. • Tuesday and Thurs- day: 1 to 7:30 p.m. The Pfizer vaccine will be available for everyone aged 12 and up, for either the first or second dose. The second dose can be ad- ministered if it's been 28 days or longer since your first dose.
