E WATERLOO (519) 725-5252 Sixteen people are fac- ing numerous charges in connection to a six-month investigation into drug trafficking throughout Wa- terloo Region. On May 20, members of the Waterloo Regional Po- lice Service conducted 15 search warrants through- out the region and seized drugs, weapons, vehicles, stolen property and cash. In all, 15 men between the ages of 20 and 26, and one young person were ar- rested. They are all from Waterloo Region and they have been charged with 52 offences in total. Some of the charges include con- spiracy to commit an in- dictable offence, posses- sion for the purpose of traf- ficking and weapons of- fences, police said.
