Waterloo Regional Po- lice say a 55-year-old man from Ariss was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital after a vehicle crossed the centre line on Weisenberg Road, just north of Line 86, and collided with a transport truck. The truck ended up in the ditch, and the car also struck two other vehicles in the collision that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Police reported no other injuries, but the extent of the man's injuries were not known. The Ministry of the Environment responded due to diesel leaking from the truck's fuel tank. A portion of the load of manure the truck was haul- ing was also scattered on the road, which remained closed for several hours for the police investigation.
