SUBMITTED PHOTO The University of Water- loo Weather Station is report- ing that April bounced back from the low temperatures in March. The Region of Waterloo saw a bounce back in tem- peratures with April coming in at two and half degrees above average. This made it the warmest since 2010. It was a classic spring weather pattern for most of the month with some spells of temperatures over 20°C mixed in with days in the single dig- its. It was yet another wet month, with the total precipi- tation of 124.4 mm was much more than the average of 74.5 mm It also was spread out over the month with ve days over 10 mm. e total precipitation for the year of 393.8 mm is well above the average for the rst four months of the year which is 264.4 mm. Assuming the 1 cm of snow that fell in April is the end of the snowfall season, the total will end up at 126.0 cm com- ing in below the average snowfall of 159.7 cm for the entire winter season.
