B. 1758 D. 1850
Married: Elizabeth Erb [sis of Abe]

The Christian Schneider family who came to Waterloo in 1806, contributed much to the early development of Waterloo. Christian settled on a farm near Doon. He had purchased this land with the object of beginning a grist mill but he was unable to secure water rights from his neighbours, so the project was never realized. He had married Elizabeth Erb, a sister of Abraham Erb who is regarded as the first settler in Waterloo.
