Married - Hannah Martinson
The forebears of Thomas Quickfall originated in Yorkshire, England. Thomas Quickfall came to New York State in America and there married Hannah Martinson. In 1841 the Thomas Quickfall family with his brother-in-law ____ Martinson came to Waterloo when Quickfall purchased the old William Moxley farm north-east of Waterloo. Over the years the farm was developed and was later called Evergreen Farm. Thomas’ son, Richard M., inherited the farm in 1868.

- This is a handwritten biography of Thomas Quickfall from the Ellis Little Papers. This biography has been transcribed exactly as written. Ellis Little was a local historian, who was the principal of Elizabeth Ziegler Public School.On his retirement, he invested much of his time in researching and writing about Waterloo's history. The Ellis Little Papers consist of extensive notes, papers and historical works.
