Married Mary Schneider

Aaron Kraft was the son of George Kraft who came to this area in the first large Mennonite emigration from Pennsylvania in 1806. George and family settled on CCT Lot 42 west of Wat and Aaron grew up there with plenty of farming experience. When he married Mary Schneider (Snider) a daughter of Waterloo grist miller owner Elias Snider, he set up a farming operation on part of his father’s large farm. In 1879 he moved to Waterloo where he became a partner with his father-in-law in the Union Mills.
